Se efectua un estudio completo de las propiedades fisica y matematicas de los nuevos estados coherentes, poniendo en evidencia sus especiales caracteristicas. Se obtiene posteriormente un metodo de cuantizacion que permite desarrollar correctamente en el cilindro los formalismos cuanticos mas habituales. Nuestros resultados engloban y mejoran los obtenidos por otros autores. Por ultimo, los estados coherentes antes citados se utilizan para el calculo del limite semiclasico de la teoria cuantica en el cilindro, con resultados plenamente
