Se analiza la relacion entre la morfolog\u00eda de los catalizadores, su actividad y la calidad final del polimero. El estudio comprende una gran variedad de soportes siliceos que se han caracterizado para determinar la superficie especifica y volumen y distribucion porosa.  se ha analizado el efecto de las variables de preparacion y activacion sobre las propiedades del catalizador y su comportamiento cinetico, resultando informacion para la preparacion de catalizadores metalicos de alta actividad.  la etapa de activacion supone una modificacion importante de la morfolog\u00eda del soporte.  la investigacion cubre un amplio estudio que abarca desde la investigacion basica, modelizacion de la fragmentacion del catalizador a partir de datos cineticos, hasta la investigacion aplicada, comportamiento del reactor de lecho fluidizado.
