Emparan Garc\u00eda De Salazar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha tomado la gravedad como una descripcion efectiva de baja energia, en una formulacion en terminos de integrales funcionales, para analizar fenomenos cuanticos que involucran agujeros negros. En una primera parte se analizan procesos de formacion espontanea de agujeros negros por efecto tunel cuantico mediado por instantones.  asi, se estudia: (i) la nucleacion de agujeros negros en espacio a temperatura finita, y de aqui se obtiene una definicion de la entropia de un agujero negro. (Ii) la produccion en un campo magnetico de pares de agujeros negros magneticamente cargados. (Iii) los diferentes mecanismos de rotura de cuerdas cosmicas con formacion de agujeros negros en sus extremos, analizando los procesos fisicos subyacentes.  en una segunda parte se estudia el problema de las correcciones cuanticas a la entropia de agujeros negros, y las divergencias en la termodinamica de campos en presencia de horizontes. Una analisis detallado muestra que: (i) las divergencias de la entropia geometrica no admiten una renormalizacion en los acoplamientos de baja energia.
