Concretamente, se ha tratado el problema de la segmentacion de imagenes y la interpretacion de escenas tridimensionales.  las aportaciones mas rese\u00f1ables de este trabajo son tres:  1. La posibilidad de emplear tecnicas procedentes de la inteligencia artificial para resolver problemas relacionados con la vision por computador.  2. El desarrollo de herramientas software que basandose en el gradiente de los niveles de gris de la imagen, convierta dicha imagen en un grafo sobre el cual se apliquen metodos de busqueda heuristica con el fin de determinar los perfiles de los objetos presentes en la escena.  3. Se ha establecido la metodolog\u00eda adecuada para efectuar el seguimiento de un objeto iconico y rigido en el espacio 3-d.
