En el caso de la excavacion justifica el 2.45% de variacion. Las mediciones de area en su conjunto inducen mayor variabilidad humana que los calculos de longitudes.  mediante la construccion de un ojo artificial se ha calculado el factor de magnificacion de una camara funduscopica. Se ha sistematizado el calculo del factor de magnificacion ocular mediante la propuesta de sus ecuaciones de calculo en vez de el uso de graficas. Se propone para ello la nueva ecuacion hiperbolica y=1\/(ax2+bx+c) en lugar de emplear la ecuacion parabolica y=ax2+bx+c propuesta hasta hoy y que ha de considerarse erronea desde el punto de vista teorico. Se ha dise\u00f1ado un programa informatico para la obtencion del factor de magnificacion ocular a partir de las formulas anteriores.  se han obtenido diferencias estadisticamente significativas entre los grupos (control, hipertenso ocular y glaucoma) en el grado de palidez papilar, la presencia de muescas papilares, la profundidad de la excavacion, la impresion diagnostica papilar subjetiva, el cociente anr en el sector temporal horizontal (anrsth) \/ anr total, los diametros vertical y horizontal de la excavacion, el area de excavacion, y el area de anrsth.  los demas parametros estudiados obtienen diferencias no significativas. Tras el analisis multivariante, los mejores parametros de discriminacion son la presencia de muescas papilares y el area de anrsth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
