Partiendo de las autoridades clasicas de ciceron y quintiliano, la italia renacentista ve surgir nuevas teorias en torno a este fenomeno que en principio se hallan relacionadas con los tratados de retorica, poetica o educacion cortesana. Los nombres de pontano o castiglione resaltan en este ultimo grupo, siendo el ultimo el autor mas conocido por la amplia difusion que recibio su libro il cortegiano. Robortello y trissino destacan en el campo de la retorica y la poetica, donde se comienza a notar la influencia del pensamiento aristotelico sobre los generos serios y la necesidad de reconstruir una teoria de los generos risibles. Todo este esfuerzo alcanza su culminacion en la obra de vincenzo maggi que, partiendo tambien de aristoteles, ciceron y quintiliano, propone una teoria de la risa independiente de su utilizacion en la oratoria o en la literatura y que presenta rasgos de un pensamiento cientifico sobre esta materia. Su obra de ridiculis propone un nuevo camino para la teorizacion de la risa, y supone ademas el momento en que la risa comienza a ser pensada de forma diferente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
