Se han sintetizado varios compuestos hetereociclicos que contienen el sistema de perhidroisoxazolo (2,3-a) piridina, y se ha efectuado un detallado analisis conformacional a baja temperatura.  tambien se ha abordado la rotura oxidativa del enlace n-o de cicloaductos que contienen el sistema perhidropirrolo (1,2-b) isoxazol. Mediante esta estrategia se han conseguido preparar varios precursores inmediatos de pirrolidinas trans-2,5-disustituidas con simetria c2.  finalmente se ha desarrollado una sintesis de 1-oxido de (s)-3,4-dihidro-2 pivaloiloximetil-2h-pirrol, a partir de l-piroglutamato de etilo que constituye el primer ejemplo de una nitrona ciclica de 5 miembros sustituida en posicion 2,
