La fotoreduccion de estos es eficiente cuando se usan aminas bencilicas con un atomo de hidrogeno bencilico, y si el compuesto nitroaromatico tiene sustituyentes electron-dadores.  se han conseguido tambien, en algunos casos, fotoreducciones altamente selectivas de complejos de inclusion ternarios ciclodextrina-compuesto nitroaromatico-1-feniletilamina irradiando en estado solido el complejo ternario previamente formado.  en cuanto a las reacciones termicas, se han estudiado mediante tecnicas electroquimicas las reacciones de dinitrobencenos con nucleofilos oxoanionicos y se ha propuesto un mecanismo radicalario no en cadena para justificar, por una parte, el excelente comportamiento del grupo nitro como grupo saliente en las reacciones snar; y por otra, la aparicion en determinados casos de los correspondientes radicales aniones de los reactivos y de los productos en estas reacciones.  tambien se ha observado que las reacciones de sustitucion con nucleofilos neutros son posibles utilizando el propio radical anion o el dianion de los sustratos de partida como bases electrogeneradas mediante un proceso de catalisis basica general.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
