Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo la sintesis y caracterizacion de ligandos que incorporan la unidad 1,2-decarba-closo-dodecaborano unida exocluster a un atomo de fosforo. Se ha realizado la degradacion parcial de todos ellos obteniendo las correspondientes especies nido derivadas que poseen las caracteristicas de ser anionicas y asimetricas. Se ha llevado a cabo la reaccion de los nido-monofosfinocarboranos con diferentes metales de transicion (rh(i), ru(ii), pd(ii)) y esta ha conducido a la obtencion de complejos especiales cuya caracteristica mas importante es haberse producido la activacion de hidrogenos terminales unidos exocluster a atomos de boro, hacia la formacion de hidruros que poseen potenciales propiedades cataliticas.  la aplicacion de estos nuevos complejos como precursores cataliticos en reacciones de hidrogenacion e hidroformilacion de olefinas ha conducido a excepcionales resultados.
