El cadmio tambien induce adhesividad entre cromosomas metafasicos y su aparente desestructuracion.  el cloruro de zinc fue mas fitotoxico a ph de 6.0 y 7.0 mientras que el nitrato de cadmio lo fue a ph 8.0. La induccion de fitoquelatinas que producen la quelacion de cationes parece ser el mecanismo de eleccion para desintoxicarse de la presencia de cadmio, pero en absoluto lo es para el caso del zinc. El cadmio, pero no el zinc, retraso el momento de la reiniciacion de la transcripcion en el nucleo en la tardia mitosis.  en cuanto a ciclotoxicidad los resultados indican que en presencia de zinc a duracion del ciclo celular se alargo 1.6 veces el control, mientras que con cadmio se duplico.  g2 + 1\/2 m se alargo por zinc y por cadmio en 1.6 y 2.7 veces, respectivamente, en relacion al control. En presencia de zinc las celulas se acumulan en g1 y g2 1.4 y 1.2 veces el control, y en presencia de cadmio 1.3 y 1.6 veces el control.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
