Se ha aplicado este metodo para determinar la estructura de laminas delgadas de fesi2\/si(100) y fesi2\/si(111). En superredes de co\/cu (100) se ha encontrado, para las laminas de co, una estructura fct y un acortamiento en el parametro de red en la direccion de crecimiento. En multicapas de co\/cu (111) se ha hallado, en las capas de co, una estructura formada por islas con secuencias de apilamiento fcc y hcp, para grosores de cu menores de 20a. En experimentos de dicroismo magnetico se aplica el modelo de multiples atomicos en el estudio del sistema dy\/fe.
