Asimismo, se describen plasmidos para la generacion de virus mutantes de delecion de genes virales no esenciales para la infeccion en cultivos celulares. Finalmente, mediante la transferencia al vppa del sistema de expresion inducible del operon lactosa de escherichia coli, se presentan plasmidos que permiten obtener virus recombinantes que expresen, de forma inducible, genes virales en la fase tardia de la infeccion.  la eficacia de estos ultimos plasmidos fue comprobada mediante la obtencion y caracterizacion de un virus recombinante que expresa
