En la primera parte se ha realizado una amplia revision de tres temas: las teorias sobre el aprendizaje de lenguas distintas de la materna, el papel de las estrategias de aprendizaje en este proceso, y el aprendizaje instruccional versus el natural. En la segunda parte se ha llevado a cabo una investigacion experimental basada en un dise\u00f1o que va desde lo mas general a lo mas particular. Este dise\u00f1o se desarrolla a lo largo de seis estudios complementarios: dos cuestionarios, dos entrevistas y dos estudios experimentales.  los resultados son prolijos, diversos y en ocasiones dificiles de interpretar, pero en todo caso apoyan la utilidad de la utilizacion de las estrategias de aprendizaje en un contexto instruccional.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
