Los resultados de este estudio se pueden resumir en los siguientes puntos:  &#8211; thiobacillus cuprinus pertenece al grupo b1 de las proteobacterias.  &#8211; esta especie posee un unico operon rrn, que precede al operon str.  &#8211; ambos operones muestran esquemas de expresion que indican su cotranscripcion.  &#8211; el desarrollo de sondas especificas para thiobacillus cuprinus a partir de la secuencia del operon rrn ha demostrado su utilidad en experimentos de ecolog\u00eda molecular.  &#8211; se ha desarrollado un vector de expresion y clonaje para esta especie con el que se ha logrado
