La fraccion microsomal de diversos tejidos y lineas celulares contiene una cantidad cuantitativamente importante de proteina asociada. Esta interaccion con microsomas es muy rapida e implica una sola poblacion de sitios de union de alta afinidad con una kd=20nm. Las proteinas g heterotrimeicas no aparecen ser el principal punto de anclaje de bark microsomas pero la actividad de la quinasa asociada es modulada por la activacion de estas proteinas el dominio responsable del anclaje se situa en bark1 entre los aminoacidos 88-145 de la zona n-terminal de la quinasa. Esta region muestra ademas una alta homolog\u00eda de secuencia con la familia de proteinas hsp90 por lo cual se infiere la existencia de un ancestro comun de que se derivaria en ambas familias
