El primer tipo de fosforilacion es catalizado in vitro por distintas proteinas quinasas dirigidas por prolinas (pdpks) y desfosforilado por la pp2a y la pp2b. Este tipo de fosforilacion contribuye tanto al establecimiento como al desarrollo de la polaridad neuronal y reaparece durante el desarrollo de ciertas patolog\u00edas neurodegenerativas como la enfermedad de alzheimer. Este tipo de fosforilacion solo ocurre durante la diferenciacion neuronal y parece ser necesario para la regeneracion axonal.  el segundo tipo de fosforilacion es catalizado in vitro por la caseina quinasa 2 y desfosforilado por la pp1 y la pp2a. Este segundo tipo de fosforilacion induce o favorece la polimerizacion y estabilizacion de los microtubulos, siendo esencial para distintos procesos de diferenciacion neuronal. La inhibicion especifica de este tipo de fosforilacion mediante oligonucleotidos antisentido contra las subunidades cataliticas de la caseina quinasa 2, produce un incremento en la cantidad de map1b soluble que es proporcional a la disminucion de la cantidad de map1b unida a los microtubulos y bloquea la diferenciacion neural.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
