Necatrix), sin perturbar su constituci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica. La transformaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de cualquier especie vegetal implica la puesta a punto de un sistema de regeneraci\u00f3n eficiente. El aguacate muestra gran capacidad de regeneraci\u00f3n mediante embiog\u00e9nesis som\u00e1tica por lo que el trabajo se centro en optimizar este proceso, necesario para la aplicaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de transformaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica. Sin embargo, tal y como ocurre en otras especies,la conversi\u00f3n de los embriones a semillas viables es dif\u00edcil y problem\u00e1tica, radicando el principal problema en el proceso de maduraci\u00f3n.
