Se formulan las ecuaciones del movimiento que definen dicho comportamiento y luego se compara la eficacia de diferentes procedimientos de calculo al solucionar las ecuaciones del movimiento y se incluyen resultados de simulacion que comparan el comportamiento de estructuras de base fija con el de las mismas estructuras para con los diferentes sistemas pasivos de aislamiento de base.  otro tema importante es la implementacion de la estrategia de control activo, que se desarrolla describiendose la teoria, las hipotesis en las cuales se fundamenta y el analisis de estabilidad, realizando a continuacion simulaciones numericas de ensayos de control hibrido.
