Ello es posible gracias a la utilizacion de una formulacion mixta escrita para el modelo de lamina delgada de w.T. Koiter.  por otra parte, presentamos tambien una tecnica para aproximar la superficie media de la lamina en el caso en que deseemos refinar el mallado.  hemos implementado finalmente un codigo numerico que realiza la simulacion de este tipo de procesos. Lo hemos aplicado a varios problemas de placas y laminas sometidas a grandes desplazamientos y en presencia de inestabilidades, obteniendo unos resultados muy
