En la actualidad existen diversas tecnolog\u00edas para el almacenamiento de la energia electrica, en distintos grados de desarrollo. La ventaja fundamental del uso de bobinas superconductoras reside en su rapidez de respuesta y elevado rendimiento, al no ser necesaria la conversion de la energia. Hoy en dia la tecnolog\u00eda de este tipo de almacenamiento no esta demasiado desarrollada y menos aun su utilizacion especifica para atenuar ciertas oscilaciones en redes electricas. El estudio comienza con una presentacion general de esta tecnolog\u00eda; y desarrolla con detalle aplicaciones potenciales dentro de un sistema electrico.  seguidamente se analizan diferentes topolog\u00edas de los convertidores empleados, asi como sus patrones logicos de disparo. Estas topolog\u00edas son aplicables, unas a prototipos de laboratorio, y otras a almacenamiento a gran escala. Por ultimo se presentan los resultados de simulacion y experimentales del convertidor prototipo utilizado dentro del proyecto amas500 (proyecto p.I.E., en el que participan asinel, iberdrola, red
