El comportamiento reol\u00f3gico de las suspensiones permiti\u00f3 evaluar indirectamente y de una forma global la naturaleza y magnitud de las interacciones entre las part\u00edculas de mullita y molibdeno, as\u00ed como establecer una correlaci\u00f3n entre las condiciones experimentales de preparaci\u00f3n de las suspensiones y su mayor o menor estabilidad. Para ello, se prepararon suspensiones, con o sin adici\u00f3n de establizantes, utilizando distintos medios l\u00edquidos, diferentes concentraciones y varios tama\u00f1os de part\u00edcula de molibdeno.  a partir de las suspensiones preparadas en distintas condiciones, se obtuvieron compactos densos por sinterizaci\u00f3n en atm\u00f3sfera controlada, con objeto de analizar su microestructura (por medio de microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica y electr\u00f3nica de barrido) y relacionar su grado de homogeneidad y, por consiguiente, de reproducibilidad con los par\u00e1metros reol\u00f3gicos de las suspensiones de partida.  por otra parte, se realiz\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis de la interfase mullita-molibdeno por medio de microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n.  igualmente se estudio la relaci\u00f3n entre la microestructura y las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas de los diferentes compactos mullita-mo. Para ello, se obtuvieron probetas de dimensiones adecuadas que se sometieron a distintos ensayos mec\u00e1nicos con objeto de determinar el m\u00f3dulo de young, la tenacidad (mediante medidas de indentaci\u00f3n vickers), el m\u00f3dulo de rotura (por medio de medidas de flexi\u00f3n en tres puntos), as\u00ed como la tolerancia a los defectos (curva-r) de estos compactos (a partir de las medidas del m\u00f3dulo de rotura en funci\u00f3n de las cargas de indentaci\u00f3n practicadas en la cara en tensi\u00f3n).  finalmente, se aplicaron los conocimientos
