modelo matematico que cuantifica el volumen de agua que se infiltra en una ladera, mediante la proposicion y elaboracion de un nuevo balance hidrico puntual.La aplicacion del balance hidrico puntual a una ladera original con ausencia de vegetacion y suelo degradado, y a la misma ladera sistematizada por labores de preparacion del suelo para su reforestacion, distinguiendo entre areas productoras y receptoras de escorrentia, constituye el nucleo central del trabajo.Las ecuaciones que surgen de este analisis permiten simular el comportamiento hidrologico de cualquier terreno en pendiente y cuantificar las disponibilidades hidricas en diferentes situaciones.Con el fin de facilitar el uso de las ecuaciones generales, particularizando para dos modelos hidrologicos (ecuacion de infiltracion de horton y metodo del numero de curva), se ha procedido a la informatizacion, dando lugar a los programas hydnum y modipe, que se presentan junto con un manual de
