La labor que se ha realizado abarca tan solo dos areas: los sensores y redes de fibra optica. Puede decirse que el cariz fundamental de este trabajo es meramente experimental, tambien se han realizado estudios y modelos teoricos enfocados, tanto a la comprension de los fenomenos observados, como para ayudar al dise\u00f1o y caracterizacion de ciertos dispositivos.  el trabajo se ha organizado en tres capitulos:  estructuras inteligentes, sensores, dispositivos de
