Con un suelo de textura franco-arenosa calificado como haploxeralf se han realizado ensayos de laboratorio y de campo, con distintos niveles de compactacion y contenidos de humedad del terreno. Se ha medido la resistencia a la penetracion con diferentes puntas conicas y se ha realizado un estudio de correlacion entre las puntas en relacion a la normalizada por asae, para comprobar que se pueden utilizar puntas de tama\u00f1o menor a la normalizada.  una vez definida la relacion entre puntas se ha buscado una ecuacion que relacione la densidad aparente seca del suelo con la resistencia a la penetracion, el contenido de humedad y la profundidad, llegando a definir dos modelos de prediccion de la densidad aparente para las condiciones de laboratorio.
