Para paliar los efectos de este crecimiento, la tecnolog\u00eda y la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica aparecen como dos grandes aliadas de la pol\u00edtica energ\u00e9tica.  la tecnolog\u00eda de los ciclos de absorci\u00f3n tanto en refrigeraci\u00f3n utilizando energ\u00eda t\u00e9rmica residual o de origen solar, como en la recuperaci\u00f3n de residuos t\u00e9rmicos para su posterior revalorizaci\u00f3n mediante bombas de calor o transformadores de calor es una de las opciones m\u00e1s atractivas e interesantes a tener en cuenta en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.  muchas de las limitaciones actuales de la tecnolog\u00e1ia de absorci\u00f3n est\u00e1n directamente relacionadas con la problem\u00e1tiaca de los fluidos de trabajo convencionales (cristalizaci\u00f3n y corrosi\u00f3n en el caso del agua+bromuro de liltio, y en el caso de amon\u00edaco + agua la necesidad de rectificaci\u00f3n para la separaci\u00f3n del amon\u00edaco y su toxicidad).
