catalu\u00f1a durante el siglo xv fue el \u00f3rgano de delegaci\u00f3n permanente de la corte. tuvo atribu\u00eddas diversas funciones: una primera y principal funci\u00f3n fiscal y financiera &#8211; recaudando los donativos que los brazos de la corte concedieron a los monarcas; otra funci\u00f3n de control del cumplimiento del derecho general del principado- pudiendo iniciar los procesos de contrafueros ante la audiencia real; y tambi\u00e9n contribuy\u00f3 a ayudar militarmente a los monarcas de la corona de arag\u00f3n &#8211; facilit\u00e1ndoles la armada de la cual dispon\u00eda la diputaci\u00f3n y de su artiller\u00eda- para las guerras en que \u00e9stos se implicaron. la diputaci\u00f3n del general fue un \u00f3rgano que alcanz\u00f3 relevancia pol\u00edtica en la \u00e9poca estudiada, ya que en los a\u00f1os 1462-72 al estallar la guerra civil catalana la diputaci\u00f3n junto a el consejo de ciento barcelon\u00e9s se erigieron en la fracci\u00f3n contraria a
