Se corrigen tesis de m. Pelayo, schafer, bataillon, kamen, gonzalez novalin, huerga teruelo, rumeu de armas. Se estudia la significacion de g. Montes como humanista. Sus particuliaridades literarias. La pervivencia de erasmo durante la 2 mitad del siglo xvi.  montes censura la barbarizacion de la ense\u00f1anza en la universidad de alcala con referencias muy directas a la ense\u00f1anza universitaria de la epoca. Al mismo tiempo que censura la metodolog\u00eda didactica, carga las tintas contra el escolasticismo y contra el desconocimiento de lenguas (latin, griego, hebreo).  la traduccion espa\u00f1ola de los diferentes textos latinos que se analizan en la tesis, es elaboracion propia.  en el anexo i de la tesis se ofrece un estudio linguistico de la obra de g. Montes (lexico, morfosintaxis, fonetica, estilistica).  el grueso de la tesis se refiere a las caracteristicas de fondo de g.
