Con el fin de profundizar en el conocimiento de la elastina hemos desarrollado una lineas de animales transgenicos por el metodo de la microinyeccion. Estos animales han integrado en su genoma un fragmento de adn correspondiente a 5.2 kb del extremo 5&#8243;\u00bb del gen humano de la elastina, ligado 0.7 kb. Conteniendo la secuencia nucleotidica del gen reportero del cloranfenicol acetil transfera (cat). El estudio de la expresion especifica del promotor humano de la elastina en los diferentes tejidos por el ensayo del cat muestra la expresion mas elevada en los pulmones y la aorta mientras que en la piel vemos niveles mas bajos de expresion. Del mismo modo, observamos una regulacion de la expresion del gen humano de la elastina segun las diferentes etapas del desarrollo en los distintos tejidos. Por otro lado, se trataron los animales con glucocorticoides tgf-beta e il-ibeta, viendose un aumento en la trascripcion del gen humano de la elastina \u00ab\u00bbin vivo\u00bb\u00bb.  estos animales constituyen un modelo de estudio para diferentes agentes farmacologicos y citocinas, asi como para el estudio de los procesos de envejecimiento y fotoenvejecimiento.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
