A continuacion se estudian los dos capitulos centrales del trabajo y finaliza con unas conclusiones finales o la definicion del heroe sastreano.  se a\u00f1ade una bibliografia de la obra de alfonso sastre, la obra que sobre el se ha escrito finalizando con una actualizacion de una bibliografia general de teatro. El cuerpo central de la tesis abarca, por lo tanto, los dos capitulos centrales y las conclusiones generales. El capitulo primero va a estudiar el personaje dramatico desde el teatro griego hasta la crisis de finales del siglo xix y principios del siglo xx, profundizando en las diferentes causas de la crisis de la nocion de personaje.  finaliza el capitulo con una reflexion sobre la nocion de personaje dramatico a la luz de la semiolog\u00eda y otras teorias. El capitulo segundo es un analisis de la obra dramatica de alfonso sastre desde el punto de vista del personaje dramatico, con un intento de aplicacion de la metodolog\u00eda y teoria de analisis dramatico estudiado en el capitulo primero.
