Recogido por el magisterio actual: por primera vez en guadium et spes n.13. Fue acentuado en la reconciliatio et paenitentia: tanto los efectos del pecado como los de la redencion-liberacion son explicados recurriendo al esquema: cuatro fracturas, y cuatro reconciliaciones. Y lo utiliza el catecismo de la iglesia catolica. Para contrastarlo se presenta el esquema clasico. El modelo agustiniano es ontologico y se\u00f1ala la causalidad: al abandono de dios se sigue un da\u00f1o en la situacion interior del hombre. Santo tomas lo enriquece por la consideracion de la ordenacion al fin del concepto de naturaleza. Por el pecado la razon no se sujeta a dios y causa que la razon no pueda someter a las facultades inferiores, ni el cuerpo al alma. A principios de siglo renace la dimension social del pecado debido en parte a las reacciones ante el individualismo, la reflexion sobre los conflictos belicos, la categoria de relacion introducida por la filosofia dialogica y la corriente personalista, la renovacion de la eclesiolog\u00eda que recupero la nocion de \u00abcomunion\u00bb de la patristica.
