Este primer an\u00e1lisis tiene adem\u00e1s el objetivo de identificar aquellos elementos que podr\u00edan ayudar a aumentar la adecuaci\u00f3n de la prueba y el mismo tiempo contribuir al desarrollo de pruebas m\u00e1s apropiadas.  el proceso de validaci\u00f3n surgi\u00f3 ante la necesidad de necesidad de estudiar las consecuencia reales y posibles de la prueba. Debido a la creencia que todo examen influye tanto en los objetivos pedag\u00f3gicos como en los objetivos de aprendizaje, la tesis tambien pretend\u00eda estudiar qu\u00e9 cambios en la prueba pod\u00edan contribuir no s\u00f3lo a la mejora de la prueba en s\u00ed sino tambien a la mejora de la expresi\u00f3n oral de los alumnos de ingl\u00e9s de nivel intermedio.  en los primeros cap\u00edtulos de la tesis, y en el marco de las bases te\u00f3ricas, se relatan los esfuerzos realizados por parte de los te\u00f3ricos en ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica, ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica aplicada y evaluaci\u00f3n en la descripci\u00f3n y categorizaci\u00f3n de la lengua en uso en la vida real, c\u00f3mo se ense\u00f1a y c\u00f3mo se eval\u00faa. En los capitulos siguientes se describen con detalle el estudio preliminar, realizando para analizar la prueba existente, los pasos seguidos para elaborar una prueba a partir de los resultados del estudio preliminar, y el estudio principal, realizado para validar la nueva prueba a partir de los resultados del estudio preliminar, y el estudio principal, realizado para validar la nueva prueba, consistente en tres tareas de tipolog\u00eda distinta, y compararla con la que se utiliza en la actualidad,una entrevista semi estructurada, que se incia con la descripci\u00f3n de una foto.  el estudio principal replica los an\u00e1lisis realizados en el estudio preliminar en lo que se refiere al discurso que se observa en las actuaciones de los alumnos, pero tambi\u00e9n estudia las
