Luisa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Hemos purificado mediante cromatografia de afinidad por iones metalicos la transcriptasa inversa, silvestre y mutantes, del virus del sida. Mediante ensayos de actividad enzimatica confirmamos que la acumulacion de mutaciones sobre una molecula de enzima no tiene porque provocar una mayor resistencia. La sensibilidad de la enzima frente a los inhibidores no nucleosidicos depende del patron-cebador utilizado.  hemos desarrollado un metodo para evaluar la interaccion en mezclas que contienen inhibidores totales. Tambien hemos descrito la utilidad y las limitaciones de los metodos tradicionalmente utilizados. Ninguno de ellos es adecuado para evaluar interaccion en mezclas con inhibidores parciales, por ello hemos ampliado el metodo para analizar dichas interacciones. Hemos evaluado la interaccion entre inhibidores nucleosidicos entre si, no nucleosidicos entre si y mezclas de ambos.
