Para la determinacion de cuatro colorantes (dos rojos y dos amarillos) en mezcla cuaternarias, que realizo previamente una extraccion liquido-liquido, y se aplican los metodos propuestos para la resolucion de mezclas binarias a la determinacion de estos compuestos en cada una de las fases.  se establecen finalmente metodos para la determinacion de colorantes en mezclas mas complejas (seis colorantes, rojos y naranjas) mediante cromatografia en fase reversa con modalidad de gradiente y deteccion visible, utilizando dos modalidades diferentes: formacion de pares ionicos y supresion de la solubilidad.
