En la primera parte de la tesis se tratan los ligandos de tipo ditiolato con los que se han obtenido complejos de oro(i), di y tri-nucleares principalmente; y complejos de oro(iii), empleando derivados de esta\u00f1o y cinc para transferir los ligandos ditiolato a oro; este, es el unico procedimiento viable para sintetizar los complejos heterolepticos objeto del estudio.  en una segunda parte se tratan los ligandos de tipo s,p- y s,c-dadores. Con ellos se han obtenido complejos dinucleares de oro(i) y en el caso de los fosfinatioles, distintos tipos de compuestos mononucleares de oro(iii).  ademas se han sintetizado derivados de esta\u00f1o que han sido empleados en reacciones posteriores para obtener complejos heteropolinucleares de sn-au y sn-ag.  los complejos obtenidos se han caracterizado por distintos metodos fisicos y espectroscopicos.
