Para ello, se ha estudiado el efecto de tres variables:  irradiancia solar incidente, velocidad de dilucion y diametro de tubo empleado.  en primer lugar se ha realizado un estudio de los fotobiorreactores empleados, determinando los parametros caracteristicos que definen su comportamiento fluidodinamico. En segundo lugar se ha realizado un analisis del perfil de irradiancia en el interior del reactor, determinando la irradiancia promedio a la que se ven sometidas las celulas en el interior del cultivo. En tercer lugar se ha realizado un estudio cinetico del crecimiento y composicion bioquimica, que ha determinado la existencia de un fenomeno simultaneo de fotolimitacion y fotoinhibicion, en condiciones externas, el cual ha sido modelizado, de manera que se ha obtenido una serie de expresiones que permiten determinar la productividad tanto de biomasa como de epa, a lo largo del ciclo
