Pilar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Numerosos estudios han demostrado que los compuestos opioides act\u00faan sobre distintos sistemas del organismo. Esta acci\u00f3n es realizada, a nivel celular, a trav\u00e9s de los denominados receptores opioides.  se ha constatado que estos compuestos est\u00e1n envueltos, en concreto en la regulaci\u00f3n del sistema endocrino, campo en el que hemos centrado nuestro estudio.  utilizando el m\u00e9todo de tinci\u00f3n de inmunohistoqu\u00edmica, hemos demostrado la existencia de un tipo de receptor opioide, el u, en la hip\u00f3fisis de la rata.  aplicamos el m\u00e9todo de tinci\u00f3n en hip\u00f3fisis de ratas de distintas edades, tanto en machos como en hembras, y procedimos al contaje de las c\u00e9lulas que expresaban dicho receptor. Observamos que el porcentaje de las c\u00e9lulas que expresaban el receptor u disminu\u00eda conforme avanzaba la edad de las ratas, y que fue menor en los grupos de ratas hembras que en los de las ratas macho en los distintos grupos de edad estudiados.  realizamos tambi\u00e9n un estudio de coexistencia del receptor opioide y distintas hormonas hipofisarias en ratas adultas, utilizando para ello diferentes t\u00e9cnicas de inmunohistoqu\u00edmica de doble marcaje.
