Previamente se expone un capitulo con los antecedentes botanicos, aspectos fisicos y geografia humana.  en el estudio floristico se incluye un catalogo con 1304 taxones de flora vascular. De ellos, corema album y ferulago granatensis son novedad para la flora iberolevantina. Se propone una especie nueva (linaria arabiniana), un hibrido nuevo (teucrium x mateoi), una variedad nueva y una nueva combinacion nomenclatural. Por ultimo, se realiza un analisis floristico, en el que el elemento endemico iberolevantino (108 taxones) resulta destacable. El estudio fitosociologico incluye la propuesta de 8 asociaciones, 2 subasociaciones, 1 alianza y 1 subalianza nuevas; asi como 1 alianza y 1 orden provisionales nuevos. Ademas, se proponen 5 nombres nuevos y 1 enmienda. En el estudio fitogeografico se justifican los mapas de termotipos, ombrotipos y de unidades fitogeograficas.
