El deposito de ybco ha dado lugar a laminas epitaxiales con excelentes propiedades superconductoras directamente sobre laalo3. Para el deposito sobre ysz, mgo y si, se han analizado distintos materiales como barrera (ceo2, srtio3, dobles barreras ceo2\/ysz).  el grabado con laser se ha estudiado, por una parte, para el crecimiento selectivo de ybco sobre laalo3 pre-irradiado, y por otra parte, directamente sobre el ybco.
