La exploracion consistio en la observacion de dos conductas pedagogicas &#8211; una centrada en la atencion a la \u00abforma\u00bb y la otra centrada en la atencion al \u00absignificado\u00bb, siguiendo terminolog\u00eda de ellis, 1990- y sus consecuencias respecto a la \u00abreceptividad\u00bb (allwright y bailey, 1991) y progreso individual de los alumnos.  despues de revisar bibliografia referente a modelos didacticos, conductas pedagogicas y diferencias individuales en el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras, se plantean tres preguntas de investigacion. La recogida y analisis de datos responde a una metodolog\u00eda hibrida habiendose utilizado un modelo de observacion sistematico, pruebas de dominio linguistico, tests y cuestionarios para la identificacion de diferencias individuales, notas de campo y diarios de alumnos.  los resultados son una prueba documental de la extrema complejidad de los procesos de ense\u00f1anza y de aprendizaje
