El presente trabajo ha caracterizado en parte aquellas relacionadas con la transformacion maligna, adquisicion de quimiorresistencia y herencia del tumor analizando el adn y el arn en una extensa serie de muestras quirurgicas de carcinomas endometriales, hiperplasias y endometrios normales.  se ha detectado la amplificacion genica de los oncogenes c-erbb2\/neu y fgf-3\/int-2 en un 14% de carcinomas, mientras que copias extras del egfr no se han detectado.  ademas existe mutacion puntual del oncogen k-ras en un 15% de casos sin amplificacion genica. Se ha demostrado tambien la posibilidad de detectar un patron de monoclonalidad en las biopsias endometriales procedentes de piezas tumorales con posible aplicacion diagnostica.  por otra parte se han descubierto notables niveles de expresion de los genes de quimiorresistencia mdr-1 y mrp en ausencia de amplificacion genica de los mismos.  finalmente se ha puesto en evidencia que la herencia de genotipos mutados de los genes p53 y cyp1a1 conlleva un riesgo incrementado de desarrollar este cancer:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
