Clean-up, preconcentracion, derivatizacion) en procesos analiticos de muestras biologicas (orina, suero, plasma, celulas) para la determinacion de mezclas de analitos de interes clinico (trigliceridos, acidos grasos, colesterol y peptidos) y toxicologico (drogas de abuso y sus metabolitos). Los modulos de tratamiento se han acoplado en linea (en algunos casos) a un cromatografo de gases y liquidos con diferentes tipos de deteccion (de ionizacion de llama, espectrometria de masas). En cada caso se han ensayado diferentes tipos de pretratamiento, siendo la sorcion y la extraccion liquido-liquido los que han originado los mejores resultados. Se ha realizado una optimizacion sistematica orientada a mejorar la propiedades analiticas para resolver adecuadamente los problemas analiticos planteados. La evaluacion de las metodolog\u00edas dise\u00f1adas y validadas se ha hecho en cada caso mediante la aplicacion sistematica a muestras reales.
