complejo monumental tardorromano de cercadilla (cordoba).  parte de una hipotesis de trabajo previa, segun la cual el edificio constituyo un palacio imperial vinculado a maximiano herculeo, que es comprobada y confirmada mediante el analisis de las formas arquitectonicas y de otros aspectos complementarios como son la metrolog\u00eda, la tecnica constructiva, etc.  todo ello permite concluir en una propuesta de interpretacion historica del monumento, directamente relacionada con la nueva organizacion geopolitica del imperio romano en epoca tetrarquica, segun la cual el palacio de cercadilla habria constituido el centro de operaciones de maximiano en el extremo occidental de sus dominios, en relacion con la defensa del limes mauritano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
