Las investigaciones abarcan los siguientes puntos: &#8211; sintesis de alpo4 y sio2 asi como sistemas alpo4-sio2.  &#8211; caracterizacion de los mismos mediante isotermas de adsorcion desorcion, drift, mas-nmr, sem.  &#8211; sintesis de sistemas metalicos sobre los solidos referidos. Se han depositado metales cpomo pt, pd y otros como re, rh y ru, dando lugar a sistemas bimetalicos pt-m.  &#8211; caracterizacion de dichos catalizadores metalicos mediante tecnicas a temperatura programada (tpr, tpd), quimisorcionde hidrogeno y tem.  &#8211; estudio de la selectividad y actividad catalitica de dichos solidos en reacciones de deshidrogenacion de ciclohexano y
