En los cuatro a\u00f1os de muestreo se encontraron nueve especies de parasitoides: cuatro braconidos, tres ichneumonidos y dos taquinidos. Algunas de estas asociaciones son nuevas para espa\u00f1a. El braconido cotesia kazak destaco por su mayor frecuencia de aparicion e incidencia. Entre los patogenos se han reconocido tres aislamientos de nucleopoliedrovirus (vpn), dos aislamientos de la bacteria serratia marcescens y el hongo entomoftoraceo zoophthora radicans.  los tres vpn son de nucleocapsida simple y constituyen variantes genotipicas con diferencias en su espectro de hospedadores, aunque no difieren en su actividad insecticida. Se ha desarrollado un metodo de produccion in vivo de vpn, que incluye la puesta a punto de la cria de h. Armigera y la mejora del rendimiento de la produccion. Mediante ensayos de campo, la vida media de la actividad de vpn en alfalfa y algodon se situo entre 1 y 2 dias. La actividad insecticida de vpn en ambos cultivos no fue suficiente para reducir los da\u00f1os causados por las larvas de h.
