El efecto se contrasta con la accion de moduladores farmacologicos de las proteinas g (toxina pertussis, toxina colerica, fluoruro sodico), protein cinasa c (tpa, trifluoperazina) inhibidores de fosfatasas (acido ocadaico), moduladores de los niveles de ampc (ibmx, dibutiril ampc, teofilina), y los niveles intracelulares de calcio. Se compara el efecto con la respuesta que producen el grf (ghrh) humano, su relacion con el calcio, la temperatura, y la energia metabolica (con antimicina a). Se estudia tambien el efecto del estimulo inmunologico, y los mecanismos que regulan su respuesta.
