La alimentaci\u00f3n de l\u00e1mparas de descarga mediante cirucitos electr\u00f3ncios permite un importante incremento de las prestaciones de este tipo de sistemas, tales como: mayor rendimiento, menor peso y tama\u00f1o, eliminaci\u00f3n del efeco estrobosc\u00f3pico,mejor aprovechamiento de la vida \u00fatil de la l\u00e1mpara, etc.  en el presente trabajo doctoral se pretende realizar algunas aportaciones dentro del campo de circuitos electr\u00f3ncios para la alimentaci\u00f3n de l\u00e1mparas de descarga. Se busca obtener nuevos circuitos de alimentaci\u00f3n que permitan un aprovechamiento m\u00e1s eficiente de la energ\u00eda el\u00e9crica con el menor coste posible.Se persiguen dos objetivos perfectamente diferenciados. El primero encaminado a la obtenci\u00f3n de modelos que permitan estudiar la interacci\u00f3n entra el balasto electr\u00f3nico y la l\u00e1mpara para la optimizaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o de inversores resonantes. El segundo dirigido a la obtenci\u00f3n de nuevas topolog\u00edas de potencia y nuevas estrategias de control adecuadas para las mismas, a fin de obtener balastos electr\u00f3nicos de tama\u00f1o y precio reducidos.  en el presente trabajo se proponen dos nuevas topolog\u00edas derivadas de la integraci\u00f3n de un convertidor reductor con un puente completo. Estos dos circuitos se encuentran especialmente indicados para la alimentaci\u00f3n de l\u00e1mparas de alta intensidad de descarga en el rango 150-250w. Para este rango de potencia, los esfuerzos en los interruptores del circuito son peque\u00f1os,permitiendo el empleo de transistores de bajo coste.  en el presente trabajo se propone una nueva estrategia de control auto-oscilante optimizada para su empleo en topolog\u00edas integradas de una sola etapa.
