La maxima productividad celular se alcanzo con la harina de solanum tuberosum sin fermentar. La mejor fuente de nutrientes corresponde al extracto de s. Tuberosum fresco por su diversidad en fuentes de nitrogeno, fosfato y carbono. Su efectividad se comprueba en cultivos axenicos de las microalgas tetraselmis suecica y p. Tricornutum utex 640.  la concentracion del extracto y edad del tuberculo influyen sobre la productividad de la biomasa microalgal y composicion bioquimica, como la de proteinas y pigmentos fotosinteticos respecto a cultivos autotroficos. El incremento del volumen celular de p.  tricornutum en cultivos semicontinuos pareciera ser producto de la interaccion s.  tuberosum-microalga-bacteria. S.
