Este efecto de los acidos grasos libres cis-insaturados, pero no tran- o saturados, es el resultado de una interaccion compleja, debida a una combinacion de acciones inhibitorias sobre los mecanismos intracelulares de transduccion de se\u00f1ales ionicas. En el caso del trh, el efecto inhibitorio se realiza sobre la plc y sobre las bomobas de extrusion de ca2+ de la membrana plasmatica. En el caso del vip, se afecta la ac y la pka. En ambos casos, al igual que ocurre en celulas estimuladas por despolarizacion, la apertura de los canales ca2+ voltaje dependientes es inhibida por los ffa.La base bioquimica de los efectos observados para el acido oleico vendria dadapor la distorsion que los cis-ffa ejercen sobre el empaquetamiento lipidico en membranas biologicas, perturbando la funcionalidad de siste-proteicos de membrana asociados a la misma. Esta accion, esta en relacion directa con el grado de asociacion funcional de las proteinas con la membrana plasmatica. A pesar del notable efecto inhibitorio que los cis-ffa ejercen sobre la bioquimica de las membranas biologicas, el bloqueo de la secrecion hormonal no se asocia con alteraciones del transporte y
