Se realiza asi mismo un estudio de los conceptos y ordenes presentados en el seno de las copulas arquimedianas y de los valores extremos, obteniendo propiedades interesantes de las mismas. Se definen dos nuevos ordenes de dependencia, analizando sus propiedades y su relacion con los anteriores.  en una segunda parte se definen y estudian tests para estudiar la independencia entre dos variables aleatorias y tests para comparar la dependencia entre dos pares de variables o dos distribuciones bidimensionales. Para los primeros se obtiene la expresion de los tests localmente mas potentes basados en los rangos, para contrastar la independencia contra alternativas representadas por copulas arquimedianas y de valores extremos. Se define tambien una adaptacion de la nocion de resistencia de ylvisaker que permite comparar los tests desde una propiedad de robustez. Se propone una estimacion de la varianza asintotica de los estadisticos lineales de rangos y se demuestra su convergencia casi segura. Esta estimacion permite definir tests para comparar la dependencia.  la memoria finaliza con un estudio comparativo de la potencia y el nivel de los diferentes tests basado en simulaciones de las
