Viscosus y a. Odontolyticus), porphyrononas spp (6 cepas) y clostridium ssp (10 cepas).  igualmente se estudia dicha actividad frente a la microbiota procedente de muestras de pacientes con caries de dentina.  como control positivo se emple\u00f3 clorhexidina al 0,2%. En relaci\u00f3n a los cementos de vidrio ion\u00f3mero. Vitrebond y vitremer fueron los productos m\u00e1s activos, mientras que el adhesivo con mayor capacidad inhibitoria fue scotchbond hp.  se ha comprobado que la actividad antibacteriana de los materiales que presentan mayor capacidad para inhibir el desarrollo de las bacterias en cultivo puro disminuye en las muestras de caries dentinaria, con una excepci\u00f3n:  clorhexidina, que mantuvo
